摘要:
During the talk a modular representation for the strange-baryon decays originating from spin polarized and correlated baryon–antibaryon pairs will be discussed. It allows to obtain joint differential distributions in sequential processes involving the semileptonic, hadronic and electromagnetic decay in a straightforward way. The formalism is suitable for extraction of the semileptonic formfactors or hadronic parameters in experiments where strange-baryon–antibaryon pairs are produced in electron–positron annihilation or in charmonia decays. The example such as the complete angular distributions in the e+e− → Λ¯Λ process, where Λ → pe− ¯νe and ¯Λ → ¯pπ+ will be provided. The formalism can also be used to describe the distributions in semileptonic decays of charm and bottom baryons.

Dr. Varvara Batozskaya is a researcher at IHEP (PostDoc fellowship) in Beijing and at National Centre for Nuclear Research (Assistant Professor) in Warsaw (Poland). She graduated from the Irkutsk State University (Russia) and made a PhD in particle physics in Warsaw working on the LHCb experiment. During her PhD she performed in the measurement of CP observables in the B meson decay with electrons in the final state. She was also involved in the alignment studies of the LHCb tracking stations. Recently, she is a member of the BESIII collaboration and participate in several analyses related to the study of semileptonic and electromagnetic decays of hyperons. |
